music kits

Learn one musical idea by making something with it.

A Music Kit is a short music project. You play, make something, and learn how the music works. Each Kit focuses on one musical idea and ends with music you made and can keep. Every Music Kit also includes a sample pack made for the project.

instructor feedback included

Every submitted Music Kit Assignment includes Instructor Feedback.

After you submit your Assignment, an instructor reviews what you made and sends a short note within 48 hours with feedback, ideas, and something new to try. Live Instructor Sessions are optional when you want more help.

how it works

Lesson here. Music project in BandLab.

Keep both open. Follow a short step on itsalloud, then switch to a ready-made music project in BandLab to play, experiment, or record. BandLab calls that project your Assignment.

Best setup: use a computer with Google Chrome for the Music Kit and BandLab project.

Chop & Play a Sample is free and opens without an itsalloud login. Paid Music Kits require a purchase and an itsalloud account.
